Phil and Ronnie went to audition for Genesis, and we all know what happened next!  Even though Ronnie was given a second audition and actually played one show with Genesis (6th October 1970), he was ultimately not given the job.

Shortly before this, the band went into a Dutch TV studio and recorded a short 5-song set, which was subsequently broadcast on 14th May 1970 on the TROS TV station. Even though both the music and vocals were mimed, this footage offers a unique insight into this shortlived group - and above that, just how the career of of a certain Mr. Collins looked before he joined Genesis on 4th August 1970, less than 2 months after this footage was broadcast.
